An empty box that Nick said was a box of love. I thought it was hilarious so I didn't notice the real present taped underneath the box. A ticket to Wicked! I was so excited! He then tells me Stacie also got a ticket so we can go together. I was pretty excited for a fun girls night.
Well months past and excitement grew, and finally July came. The day started off... not so great. Everything kept going wrong. But Stacie and I finally made it to The Capital Theater. I was a little nervous going with Stacie because the last time we went to a Broadway play together it was... a little difficult. { When I was about 9 my family went to the Phantom of the Opreah. Stacie forgot her glasses. So we had to sit by each other and share my glasses. So this time I brought my glasses just in case}. But let me just tell you the play was AMAZING! I got the chills over and over. I had to fight back tears at times. My two favorite songs were 1. Defying Gravity. Can you say powerful? It was so awesome. The music, the special effects, just everything. I loved it! 2. For Good. I always liked this song but hearing it in real life and seeing it in context... WOW! So so good!
I can't get over how much I loved the whole play. I want to watch it over and over. And I honestly can't even explain how amazing it was. Just know that you must see it! I am planning on seeing it again, next time I will take Nick along for the ride.
