Dr. Pepper

Nick and I had a blind Dr. Pepper test. We wanted to see if we could tell the difference between them by the taste. We used: Diet Dr. Pepper, Diet vanilla cherry Dr. Pepper, Dr. Pepper Bold, Dr. Pepper Cherry, Mr. Pibb, and the original Dr.Pepper.

Nick closed his eyes and I would hand him a can he would taste it and then tell me what he thought it was.  I then would write down what I gave him and his response. Then we switched.  Nick got a couple right. I however got them all right except I mixed up Diet Dr.Pepper and Dr. Pepper Bold.

But Nick wanted to test me again . He handed me one and I said, "Dr.Pepper." He handed me another one I said, "You handed me the same one! Thats Dr. Pepper" He told me he didn't. But then he handed me another one. And I again I was like, "Thats Dr. Pepper." Nick again said he didn't do that. Then he handed me two more. And I guessed them. After Nick was laughing so hard and said, " You got them all right! I tried to trick you and I gave you Dr. Pepper three times in a row and you still got it right." We thought it was pretty funny.

After the test we have decided what our favorite kinds are. My favorites are the original Dr. Pepper and Cherry Dr. Pepper. I can't decide between the two. Nicks favorite is Mr. Pibb. What can I say I love me some Dr. Pepper.

Happy Birthday Nicky!

It was Nicks Birthday September 9th. So we partied! Well as much as Nick would let us. He doesn't really like birthdays. He doesn't hate them but he doesn't LOVE them like me. I get more excited about his birthday then he does. So we went to the Pie. Nick loves the Pie. And had Seahawks Cupcakes that I made.  Here are pictures:

Yellowstone

Over Labor Day Nick and I went with his family on a list minute trip to Yellowstone. We have all been wanting to go for a while so we decided why not? On the way there we stopped at Bear World. I haven't been there since I was kid. It was cool getting so close to the animals. Then we were back on the road to Yellowstone.

We did the Yellowstone thing. Walked around, looked at all the different sights. Went down and then back up close to 400 stairs. It kicked my butt. Drove around and searched for wild life. Ate a ton of food got ice cream etc. And of course we saw Old Faithful. On our way back home we stopped by Jackson Hole. We walked around for a bit and then had dinner then finished our trip home.

Here are some pictures from our little trip:

Three Years....

A little over three years ago Nick got on his knee and asked me to marry him. And even though I didn't say yes {like seriously I never said yes}.  We couldn't be happier as cliche as that might sound. Yes there are times Nick annoys me. Yes there are times I drive Nick crazy. But we honestly wouldn't change it for anything.

This year we decided since we weren't going on a trip we would spend the whole week celebrating. Let's be honest... I love celebrating and find any excuse I can to do so. So that's what we did. Day 1. We went to our favorite Cafe Rio. The best Cafe Rio ever! They give you so much food there! We love it. Day 2. Our actual anniversary. I picked Nick up from work and we got movie theatre popcorn. And picked up a pizza. Got drinks then went home to watch one of my favorite movies, When in Rome. We also exchanged gifts. He got me this necklace I was dying to have! And I got him this cool poster I made of all our trips outside of Utah so far. Now we just need to find a place to hang it.  Day 3. Nick picked me up from work and surprised me with gerber daisys. They are my favorite flower. Then we went to City Creek and walked around temple square. After we went to dinner to Tuccies. It was soooo good. We loved it. Day 4. We had dinner at Mochies. They have been featured on the Food Network. It was way good. Then we went home and played games. Day 5. We got blizzards. Nick and I love Blizzards! They are so good. Then we went to The Mandrain which was pretty good. After that we went to a movie. I can't remember what one. Ha. I think that's all the celebrating we did. I might have missed some.

I can't believe we have been together for almost 5 years and married for 3. Time has gone by so fast. I will never forget Testing Center Boy walking into the testing center. And getting all excited and nervous. And so glad I got to be the one that helped him. Seriously I'm so glad I got to be the one to help him...
