Grandparent Time

The night Quinn was born my mom flew out to visit us and meet Quinn.  Once we were discharged from the hospital she took care of me and Quinn while Nick was at school. A few days later my dad flew out too. I defiantly pushed myself and we did some outings while they were here. We went to Magnolia Gardens a plantation near by. Me and and Quinn didn't last long at all. We waited for my parents in the car with the AC going to the max. When me, Nick, and Quinn were heading back to the car we saw an alligator! Nick was pretty excited. While my parents were here we also went to Kiawah and Sullivans Island (2 beaches in 1 day). Once again we didn't last long. Maybe 15 minutes at each beach. But it was fun. We saw lots of jelly fish, a horseshoe crab, and dolphins. And of course we had to stop by the Angel Oak Tree. It was so hard to have my parents leave. I didn't want them to go. Never in my life have I had so much appreciation and love towards my mom.

The day after my parents left Nicks mom came. While she has here we had more outings. We went to The Ocean Course a famous golf course that hosts a lot of PGA tournaments. It was beautiful!! A golf course on the beach.... how cool is that? We went on a walk outside of the course and Nick almost stepped on a water moccasin aka a very poisons snake. I am not going to lie it freaked me out... a lot. We also went to Middleton Place another plantation. We saw 3 alligators there. We got pretty close to one. It was a lot of fun. We stopped by the Angel Oak Tree. But it was closed... but at least Shellie got to see it from behind the fence ha.

It was nice having our parents come and help us out and hangout with. Especially with Nick in school and all the doctors appointments Quinn had. I don't know what I personally would have done without all their help and support. We are so lucky to have them as parents and Quinn is so lucky to have them as her grandparents.
